My passion is to help people change their lives in the simplest and most realistic way possible. I believe everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves, both inside and out. Getting fit and healthy does not have to be difficult, but it can often feel like it. We’re only human and can’t always be good all of the time; I’m here to get the best out of you, to help you get to where you want to be, and, most importantly, to stay there. If you’re serious about changing and improving yourself, all it takes is commitment and the right plan for you.
I love to see clients grow in confidence and take themselves out of their own comfort zone.
With over 20 years’ experience in health and fitness, I turned my passion into my profession. I am a results driven PT, specialising in:
- Weight loss and long term sustainability of weight management.
- Pre & Post Natal training; providing safe and effective exercise programs through each trimester and rehabilitation and returning to exercise in the post-natal period.
I care about my clients immensely and take great pride in helping somebody go through an experience that allows them to be happy, confident and strong. I know how difficult it can be managing a busy family life and want to be there for those who want to bring about change. I want to help you discover the benefits of training that have helped me become the person I am today and I’m here to guide you each step of the way. I want to use my skills, my experience and my own journey to help you to achieve your goals.

My background and passion for physical fitness, leadership and motivation started nearly 22 years ago when I joined the military. My approach to training, for myself and for my clients is do the basics effectively and efficiently, push yourself to your limit every time you enter the gym……and if you don’t like running, stay off the bloody treadmill!!
If you’re looking for a no-nonsense coach who will teach you how to train, how not to train, and most importantly, have fun while changing your body and mindset, I’ve got the numbers of some very good PTs! And if you can’t get hold of them, drop me a message.
Hi guys, I’m Emma Thomas and I have been a personal trainer for nearly three years. Like most PTs I have a huge passion for fitness and nutrition, but, unlike some of the generic PTs you might come across, every session with me will be geared towards your individual specific needs. No one-size-fits-all sessions. No restrictive, boring, unsustainable nutrition advice. Just no-nonsense, sensible, easy to adhere-to advice that will give you the best opportunity to achieve the body that you want and the mental toughness you will need to get that body!
I take a very personal interest in each and every one of my clients’ physical and mental wellbeing, and there is nothing more important to me than helping you to go through an experience that will make you more knowledgeable and more confident in the gym. I understand that being overweight and feeling like you are continually on and off diets affects your whole life, and I want to be there to help you get through this process and come out the other end healthier, happier and stronger in mind as well as in body.
When I first started my own exercise journey, I focused mainly on powerlifting and the three main lifts: bench press, deadlift and squat; this was useful to me at the time because I played grass roots rugby. Since giving up rugby, following a major injury, my passion has shifted towards helping people lead a healthier lifestyle, with a better range of movement and understanding that health and wellbeing is more important than how much we can lift (that doesn’t mean you won’t find me in the gym lifting heavy…old habits die hard!). Although I still like to work on old school training techniques and perform the fundamental basics, such as pull ups, press ups, and dips, I have also taken advantage of the wealth of knowledge possessed by my colleagues at Fusion 3 Fitness, picking up different exercise techniques and ways of adapting.
I have spent the last 30 years working within the fitness industry, and the last 5 years as one of the owners of Fusion 3 Fitness. My passion has always been to create a training facility with the best equipment and great atmosphere where people want to train hard and get results.
I believe with the right training, correct nutrition and a positive mindset anything can be achieved,I do not believe in generic programmes or a one size fits all approach, everyone is different and everything I advise is tailor made for that individual. My passion within bodybuilding is nutrition and biomechanics and I am an advocate of low volume, high frequency training.
